F.I.N.D. Fall 2024 Cohort | One Word
One Word Exercise
Setting goals is important. We also like to think about identifying a theme or focus for a significant time horizon. This One Word can serve as a gut check for how you go about achieving your goals. It can be something you want more of, or what feels like it’s next in your development journey. Some questions you can ask yourself to find your One Word:
What are some common themes in the goals that I’m thinking about?
What kind of feedback have I received that I’d like to respond to?
What do I want more of or less of?
As you think about these questions, let your mind wander. Think in terms of nouns, verbs, adjectives…and also feelings, images and random thoughts that pop into your head.
Once you have your One Word identified, complete this form and we will compile and share the list of words that each member of the cohort has identified.
Each member of the cohort identified their One Word for the next 6-12 months. We’ll refer back to these as we go through the program to help find clarity and ensure we each remain true to the intention we’ve set.
